Baked Parmesan Pork Chops
Baked Parmesan Pork Chops
6 boneless, (1/2 to 1-inch thick) pork chops
6 boneless, (1/2 to 1-inch thick) pork chops
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups bread crumbs
+ Italian seasoning (measure to taste)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat over to 375°F degrees. Melt your stick of butter in a large enough [microwave safe] bowl in the microwave.
Mix the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and cheese in a large freezer bag (I believe it's a gallon size that I used). Put one pork chop in the butter at a time, covering each side. Place it in the Parmesan cheese mixture, seal bag, and shake until pork chop is coated. You can try to do a few pork chops at a time, but it's easier and has a better turn out with one pork chop at a time.
Put the pork chops directly into a greased 9x13 pan (I used a glass dish). My pork chops did not touch in the dish. If there is any leftover Parmesan cheese mixture, sprinkle it on top. Put dish in the oven (uncovered) and bake for 30 minutes until pork chops are at the correct temperature (145°F or higher -- I did ours at 155°F).
Serve with steamed corn and mashed 'taters and you will be thanking me later.
Enjoy!
