Serving Size: 3 - 4
Ingredients:
- 4 yellow onions (or 2 large onions)
- 1 raw rotisserie chicken (5 to 7 lbs)
- 2 gloves
Seasoning for Chicken:
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix dry ingredients together. Quarter up all of the onions and place them in the crock-pot. Clean chicken(remove giblets, feathers, etc.), rinse with cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Cover the chicken in the dry mix (put it in cavity, too). Place chicken on top of the onions in the crock-pot.
Do not put any liquid in with the chicken. Put lid on, turn crock-pot on HIGH and set timer for 6 hours and 30 minutes or on LOW for 9 hours. Be sure to serve the broth/juices from the crock with the chicken. Enjoy!
