Easy Homemade Sliders

  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs (seasoned if you have it)
    • + 1 teaspoon of italian seasoning
  • salt
  • 1 package of slider buns
  • 6 slices of sandwich cheese slices
  • Toppings (optional):
    • Sliced picklets
    • Ketchup
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Good ole' me didn't take pictures of making the meat mixture. Chop your onions. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, salt, bread crumbs and italian seasoning. Mix it until everything is mixed well.

In a greased 9"x13" baking pan, spread the meat so it is one even layer and reaches all 4 corners.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Once it's cooked through (the meat will shrink), drain the grease from the pan and place the sandwich slices on top of the meat. Put the pan back in the oven and bake for 2 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
When preparing the sliders, take a top bun, place it on top of the cheese at one of the corners and cut straight lines down the meat, to make a row for that size of bun. Repeat until you run out of meat. I think this made about 10 or 12. At least 2 were "pieced" together.
Serve with french fries or potato chips and enjoy!
